About U2:-
U2 are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976 by Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. They became one of the world's most successful and influential rock groups, known for their ambitious music, powerful live performances and socially conscious themes.

The band's breakthrough came with the 1983 album War, which included Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day. Their international reputation grew further with albums such as The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby.

The Joshua Tree, released in 1987, became one of the defining albums of the decade and produced major songs including With or Without You, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and Where the Streets Have No Name.

U2 have continually reinvented their sound, incorporating rock, electronic music, alternative influences and experimental production. Their spectacular concert tours have included innovative staging and large-scale multimedia productions.

The band have received numerous Grammy Awards and other major honours. They have also been involved in humanitarian and social causes, with Bono particularly active in international campaigns.

With a career spanning more than four decades, U2 have sold hundreds of millions of records and influenced generations of musicians. Their combination of musical ambition, distinctive songwriting and huge live shows has established them as one of the most important rock bands of the modern era.
