The Black Eyed Peas are an American music group formed in Los Angeles in 1995. The group became internationally successful through a distinctive combination of hip-hop, pop, dance and electronic music.
The group originally featured will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, with Fergie joining in the early 2000s. Their breakthrough came with the 2003 album Elephunk, which included the worldwide hit Where Is the Love?.
Their success grew further with Monkey Business, producing songs including Don't Phunk with My Heart, My Humps and Pump It. They achieved even greater international success with the 2009 album The E.N.D., which included Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling.
